2025: A year of growing generosity

Visibility and lasting connections

In 2025, our new space in Westroads Mall significantly increased the Giving Machine's visibility, drawing in more community partners and hosting lively events. We began to witness the long-term impact on families who returned year after year, deepening their connection to giving and to those they helped.

Heartwarming moments of giving

The year 2025 was filled with inspiring moments. We saw teens pull out their own credit cards to buy items for children, a true testament to the spirit of generosity. A particularly heartwarming scene unfolded at our launch event when Suzanne Pillen brought her granddaughters to experience the festive and giving environment firsthand.

Our 2025 impact by the numbers

The Giving Machine Omaha, with a total of $25,512 raised, made a significant difference in 2025:

  • Catholic Charities: With twice the number of cards, they served both indigenous people in northeast Nebraska and various communities in the Omaha area.
  • CUES School System: Collected $8,005, providing 153 sports balls and 29 school scholarships.
  • HETRA: With $6,490, they offered 30 riding sessions for therapy patients and 128 bales of hay for their horses.
  • New Visions Homeless Services: Our second year with them brought $13,585, providing new underwear to 190 people and transportation to 38.
  • Trivium Life Services: With $6,874, they gave warm socks to 427 individuals and adaptive equipment to 36.
